Equipment maintenance will be carried out on the Academic Information Network (SINET6) to which the University is connected. As a result, the University's network will be affected on the following dates and times.

Date and time: 00:00-02:00, Monday 2 June 2025 (maximum of two 15-minute outages)
Affected area: - Chiba University off-campus links (all campuses)
- The entire Inohana campus
- The entire Matsudo campus

▼ Information: Instructions for continuing to process the user accounts for undergraduate students who are advancing to a master's degree this year

We would like to inform you of the precautions to be taken in processing the user account extension for undergraduate students and have progressed to a Master's degree.

Please enter "User ID@chiba-u.jp" in the email address field for the user account you wish to continue to use, which is the first field you enter in the account continuation process.

*User ID: The same 8-digit alphanumeric (4-digit alphanumeric + 4-digit numeric) ID you used to log into moodle as an undergraduate student.
*If you wish to check your user ID, you can do so on the Account Lookup page (accessible only on-campus).

▼ Information: How to avoid interpreter errors in Pycharm

When you create a project in Pycharm, you get an error that the Python interpreter cannot be found. To work around this, refer to the Educational Terminals page (Japanese only, On-campus only) and change the Pycharm settings.
