The University's core network and core system will be renewed between January and February 2023.
In connection with this, the core network will be renewed in January 2023.
The equipment to be replaced includes external connections, UTM (firewalls, etc.), and district backbone switches in each district. The entire university network will be down during the work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and ask for your cooperation as this is a large-scale renewal project that occurs only once every six years.

- ▼ 【Information】Garbled text when sending Chiba University email from Gmail app on iOS
As of January 29, 2021, we have found a phenomenon in which garbled characters occur when setting up Chiba University Mail in the Gmail application on iOS and sending from Chiba University Mail with a string containing Japanese characters in the body. We have not found a workaround for this issue, and it is believed to be a problem with the Gmail application itself.
If you are using Chiba University Mail on iOS, please use an application other than Webmail or the Gmail application.
